What Are Dentures?
Dentures are custom-made removable devices that are crafted to fit securely on the gums. They include realistic artificial teeth attached to a base and are a budget-friendly option for replacing missing teeth. Dentures can be used to replace a few or all teeth in either the upper or lower jaw. Unlike permanent solutions such as bridges or implants, dentures can be easily taken out for cleaning and to maintain oral health. They can also be removed while sleeping for extra comfort.
Bridges
There are two main types of whitening products: those containing peroxide-based bleaching agents and whitening toothpastes. In the peroxide-based category, most systems use either carbamide peroxide or hydrogen peroxide as the main ingredient. The concentration of these ingredients is important for determining the strength, effectiveness, and safety of the whitening system. These products work by causing a chemical reaction between the bleaching agent and the molecules that cause discoloration, effectively removing stains from the teeth.
